the story behind
The French countryside is dear to me — especially the Dordogne valley with its old mansions and poetic atmosphere.
For this reason, when Dear Fiore Photography asked me to imagine and create a styled shoot by her side, I immediately envisioned it in a garden, surrounded by the magical architecture of a cottage, with a strong cottage core vibe.
Domaine de Lavernelle was the ideal spot — it is the kind of place you cannot imagine until you see it with your own eyes. Hidden in a small valley, surrounded by a forest and a valley of dears, the main mansion gives the whole vibe.
I didn’t want a styled shoot just for table designs and bridal outfits photos — my purpose was to create a micro-wedding, to give the intention, emotions and feelings to the shoot.
The amazing Manon, from Lune Weddings, joined me so we could bring this beautiful project to life.
OH, and the couple who was supposed to collaborate couldn’t make it, I played the bride for a day, alongside my lovely (and very involved) boyfriend.
